About
It is way past time for me to update this page. For continuity’s sake, I’ll keep the original blurb (written eight months ago) below.
I’m now 25 years old. After enduring two flights every three days for two straight years as a consultant, I quit my job in August. I would be quite content never to set foot on another airplane as long as I live. In September, I moved to San Francisco for a new job.
I’m a pretty simple person. I love the new job. I love Philadelphia sports (WFC!). I love riding my bike. I love my dog, Boomer. Each week, I ride between 160 and 200 miles and run between 18 and 30. I listen to music non-stop. I see Pixar movies on opening night. And that pretty much sums me up.
I don’t want to be too long-winded here. Hmm. Here we go:
- 24 years old
- degrees in computer science, graphic design
- competitive swimmer for 12 years (incl. 4 years D1 college)
- semi-competitive-ish (but not really) cyclist
- terribly flat-footed runner
Combine those qualities and you’ve got a guy who’s usually toward the front of the pack after the bike-leg of your average triathlon – and at the END of the pack by the time we hit the finish line. Yep, I’ve gotta fix that. Time to learn how to run.
Also… uhh… love to travel. Philadelphia eagles. Tunafish. Dogs, especially my kick-ass overweight and aged German shepherd, Boomer. NOT thrilled with my current job. Totally obsessed with music of all types. More to come provided I ever remember to update this page.
Wow, a quarter of a century old – you must be feeling the fatigue already
. I enjoyed your recent post, as I’ve been just trying to read about and hook up with other riders who frequent the internet. I’ve started an online community of cyclists who have discovered the power of training indoors as well as out – when the need arises. You may also be interested in what we are doing. By the way, in my opinion, you are still indestructible till you’re 30 – so enjoy these next 5 years with that in mind!
